Technical description
- Jump cushion composed of 2 inflatable chambers:
- The large superior room serves as the first impact
- The lower chamber serves as a second impact zone
- The cushion functions as a fall body energy dissipator.
- The chambers are inflated through an electric fan and ducts which first supply the lower chamber. Then, using precisely calibrated internal passages, the air arrives at the upper chamber.
- The upper chamber absorbs and dissipates most of the energy generated by the impact by releasing air through the vents located at the four corners of the cushion on the upper chamber. The amount of air released can be adjusted by elastic cords located on the vents.
- The lower chamber has no vent but serves as a safety mattress with double absorption energy, at the moment of impact, releasing very little air.
- The lower chamber determines the maximum height from which a person can fall.
- In less than a sixth of a second, the SAF-RC cushion is able to absorb and dissipate the energy produced by the impact.
- The tear resistance of the cushion is more than 23kgs psi.
- Reinforced, flame retardant and waterproof vinyl fabric.
- Seams made with a nylon thread more resistant than the fabric itself.
- The design and size of the SAF-RC cushion make the jump cushion durable and resistant.
The two fans constantly send air inside the cushion and keep the structure unchanged by self-regulating through the 4 internal vents that calibrate the absorption capacity and avoid the trampoline effect.
If the cushion incurs minor damage, the fans can easily compensate for the air loss and this damage may go unnoticed until re-inspection.
